

ZUMBA, TAI CHI, YOGA RETURNING TO PRICE CENTER
After more than a year of no in-person classes, the Price Center is welcoming back three of its healthy living programs beginning next month. Easy Tai Chi, Zumba Gold, and SMTX Yoga will begin meeting in person again at the Center, with limited schedules and COVID-safe precautions in place, on May 3, 4, and 11, respectively. NEW POP-UP OUTDOOR SCULPTURE SHOW FEATURED AT PRICE CENTER
In conjunction with International Sculpture Day April 24th, the Price Center is featuring a new, two-week Pop-Up installation of sculptures suitable for outdoor use. An outdoor, one-day installation of submitted works will take place this Sat., April 24 from 10a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Price Center’s front Garden. PRICE CENTER NAMED "BEST OF HAYS" SECOND YEAR IN A ROW
San Marcans have named the Price Center & Garden the best community center and social venue in the San Marcos Daily Record's annual Best of Hays 2020 contest. The local newspaper names the top three candidates from community nominations and then conducts a contest between the top three in each category via votes from community members over several weeks. PLANET EARTH FOCUS OF INSPIRED NEW GALLERY SHOW
A call to honor the planet in support of earth day has produced a vibrant, smart, and varied look at earth through 69 works of art by 42 area artists in a new gallery show hanging now through May 22 at the Price Center in downtown San Marcos. Most of the artwork is available to purchase and a portion of any proceeds benefits the non-profit Price Center’s ongoing community arts efforts.
