Price Center Closing Due to COVID-19

In keeping with CDC guidelines and following the lead of the City of San Marcos’ Activity Center, the Board of Directors of the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Center, operators of the Price Center, unanimously moved to close the Center to all public and private events effective Tues., March 17 through the month of April. “With so many of our daily clients in the age bracket at greatest risk, it’s the right thing to do,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director. COMDANCE Classes Taking Hiatus as a Precaution due to COVID-19 Concerns

In light of increasing concerns about the COVID-19 virus and in the interest of public safety, Cindy Gratz and the Price Center are suspending several of the COMDANCE classes for the next three weeks. "Although no offical word has come down from any state or local officials, we are being extra cautious because many of our COMDANCE participants fall into the elderly age group that is currently most vulnerable," said Clay DeStefano, executive director. New Vendors, New Art and More on Tap for March 14 San Mercado

New and returning vendors, live music, and two new art shows are among the highlights slated for the March 14 San Mercado from 9 a.m. – 2 p. m., inside and outside the Price Center at 222 W. San Antonio St., downtown San Marcos.
