

MORE FELTING WORKSHOPS COMING TO PRICE CENTER JULY 14, AUG. 4
Based on the success of her May class, local artisan and educator Marti Swanson will return to the Price Center with two more Felting Workshops this summer. Wet Felting and Needle Felting will be offered July 14 and Aug. 4 respectively. Each course is an introductory session that teaches the basics of the technique and allows participants to leave with a completed piece of personal art. FACES & PLACES NEXT CALL FOR ART AT PRICE CENTER
A new Call for Art is being put out by the Price Center’s Arts Committee asking for works that features faces and/or places. The new two-month show that will serve as a companion to Christopher Paul Cardoza’s solo photography exhibit “Uniquely San Marcos, The Martian Chronicles,” which will feature intimate and engaging portraits of San Marcos citizens. Aquarena Springs Symphonic Band Returning to Price Center for Patriotic Performance June 27
Fresh on the heels of their successful San Marcos premiere last month, the Aquarena Springs Symphonic Band (ASSB) will bring a patriotic performance to the Price Center on June 27 at 5 p.m. The one-hour concert will help usher in the 4th of July Holiday week via a selection of Americana Music. The 30-piece community band will again perform in the 1910 Room and the performance will also again serve as a fundraiser for the Price Center. Tickets for the special performance are


SM ART LEAGUE HOSTS FIRST SOCIAL OF '21 @ PRICE CENTER
The San Marcos Art League (SMAL) is excited to host the very first social event of 2021 on July 22nd at The Price Center & Garden for their Member’s Art Show closing reception.
