

AQUARENA SPRINGS SYMPHONIC BAND TO PERFORM HALLOWEEN AFTERNOON AT PRICE CENTER
The Aquarena Springs Symphonic Band (ASSB) will return to the Price Center’s 1910 Room stage this Halloween via a fundraising performance at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31. Music of the Night will feature the 30-piece community band performing a selection of Halloween-inspired music. Dr. John Schmidt of Texas State University’s music department will be highlighted as guest pianist. Free Dance Classes, Shows Returning to Price Center Oct. 26
After a long, COVID-inspired hiatus, free dance classes are returning to the Price Center beginning Oct. 26. San Marcos’ own Indigenous Cultures Institute (ICI) has created Napakō: Our Journey, a unique multi-faceted display of photographs, powwow regalia, ceremonial jewelry, videos, and original art to share the story of the Indigenous community in San Marcos.
