

WET FELT VESSEL WORKSHOP COMING TO PRICE CENTER MAY 26
Local artisan and educator Marti Swanson will be teaching a Wet Felt Vessel class for beginners at the Price Center on Wed., May 26 from 1 – 3 p.m. This introduction to wet felting workshop will teach the basics of wet felting on a resist, layout of wool, embellishments, and more to create a unique piece of art. PRICE CENTER ANNUAL MEETING SET FOR MAY 27
The Price Center will host its annual membership meeting and election of officers on Thur., May 27 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event will begin with a social reception, light refreshments, a new art show, and opportunities to visit Shop 1893, all accompanied by live music from Price Center regular Gary Taylor. AQUARENA SPRINGS SYMPHONIC BAND TO PERFORM BENEFIT CONCERT AT PRICE CENTER MAY 22
The Aquarena Springs Symphonic Band (ASSB) will bring live music back to the Price Center’s 1910 Room stage via a benefit performance this Sat., May 22 at 5 p.m. The Sounds of Spring will be the 30-piece community band’s premiere concert in San Marcos, while serving as a fundraiser for the Price Center.
