PRICE CENTER NAMED "BEST OF HAYS" SECOND YEAR IN A ROW

San Marcans have named the Price Center & Garden the best community center and social venue in the San Marcos Daily Record's annual Best of Hays 2020 contest. The local newspaper names the top three candidates from community nominations and then conducts a contest between the top three in each category via votes from community members over several weeks. For the second consecutive year, the Center was named Best of Hays.

"We are honored to be voted best again," said Clay DeStefano, executive director. "COVID made 2020 a challenging year for all of us and we are grateful to be able to see and serve so many individuals, and clubs and organizations again," he added. The Price Center is a non-profit community center operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association. For more than 20 years, its mission has been to serve as a gathering place for all with enriching activities and affordable venues for rent.
