Community Flea Market Set for Sat., 28th

San Marcos, TX – More than three dozen individuals and/or vendors will have the opportunity to sell goods at a Community Flea Market slated for Sat., May 28 at the Price Center in downtown San Marcos. The sale will take place from 10 – 3 p.m. inside the Center’s Parlor, 1893 and 1910 rooms as well as outside on the lawn and along the Feltner Alley. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Center, which is operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association (GSMASA), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit.

“The gracious donations of so many who have contributed to the creation and furnishing of the Price Center over the past decade and a half has led to a bit of a stockpile of things that we either no longer use or already have one or more of,” said the Center’s executive director Clay DeStefano. “Over the past several months we’ve been undertaking a major ‘spring cleaning’. When you combine the Center’s eclectic collection of odds and ends with the additional vendors, it’ll be more like a ‘40- family’ yard sale,” he added.

DeStefano hopes for a diverse mix of booths. Private and retail vendors are welcome. Participants will need to bring all their own tables and necessary display equipment. Booth spaces for interested participants are available on first come, first served basis for $20 for outside space and $30 for an inside space.
