Our local live music series Live at Price returns for its final fall installment with Slim Bawb and The Fabulous Stump Grinders on Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in our 1910 Ballroom.
Slim Bawb plays “swamp” music. After a two-decade stint with Sacramento based Hall of Famers, The Sammies, Bawb moved to Austin in 2006 where he and his wife built Swamp Studio. They currently live in New Braunfels where they have enjoyed a monthly residency at Historic Gruene Hall for many years.
Slim plays banjo, reso-guitar, mandolin, mandola, electric guitar and foot pedal base. The Fabulous Stump Grinders bring in accordion, keyboards, harmonic, vocals and drums. You won’t want to miss this one!
