Live @ Price Returns Sept. 9 with Wendy Colonna
Our local live music series Live @ Price returns for a three-month fall run with Wendy Colonna on Sept. 9 in our 1910 Ballroom. Doors open at 6:30 and the concert begins at 7. Tickets are $10. Get advanced tickets by visiting www.liveatprice.com (Tickets will also be available at the door.)
For most of her life, Louisiana native Wendy Colonna has connected deeply with people through music. Her powerful voice and presence have shaped nine albums, including her latest “Paradigms” capturing transformative milestones and the power of collaboration with Austin’s finest musicians.
Dance Classes Return for Fall Session
Retired dance professor Dr. Cindy Gratz brings her expertise and energy back to the Center for three lively dance classes each week for the fall session beginning Sept. 10. Our Ballet for Adult Beginners Class returned August 12. Classes are free and open to all skill levels. Price Center Membership is required to attend regularly.
1893 Flea Returns Sept 13
Our popular 1893 Flea returns this month on Saturday, September 13. A limited number of indoor and outdoor spaces remain for $20, including a 6’ table and chairs. Call 512-618-2071 to arrange your space today!
Joydance Returns Sept. 20
Joydance, the family-friendly fun for all, will return to the Price Center on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 1 - 2:30 p.m. Vicki Hartin leads the fun freestyle dance opportunity for people of all ages and abilities. DJ and co-host Molly Hayes creates a music set from a variety of genres, with different styles and rhythms, which will get you moving. A colorful collection of hats, tutus, wings, and capes is available to create a transformative experience. Complementary refreshments are provided. The event is free and open to all. Walk right in.

Mini-Watercolor Journaling Class Offered Sept. 23
Learn how to create your own Mini-Watercolor Journal! Beautifully document a moment of your day anywhere, anytime, and in just a few minutes. Joy Miller, a lifelong local artist of watercolor as well as countless other media, is teaching a 2-hour workshop on Mini-Watercolor Journaling on Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 1-3 p.m. You will paint along with Joy, learning and experiencing her super-easy methods of adding paint and water to paper. You'll learn to sharpen and enhance your paintings with fine markers... adding details, words, thoughts, observations, and perhaps a date and location, to finish that journal's page.

4th Annual SM Variety Show Set for Sept. 25
The 4th annual San Marcos Variety Show Fundraiser benefiting the Price Center will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students). The show, which includes musicians, singers, dancers, and more sells out each year. The evening will also include a chance to purchase concessions and tickets for a chance to win one of several unique specialty gift basket door prizes. A Symphony of Colors on Display Through Oct. 25
The Price Center Arts Committee’s latest exhibit, A Symphony of Colors is hanging now throughout our first-floor galleries through Oct. 25. A Reception for the Show is slated for Wed. Oct. 1 from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy 77 sensational works of art, live music, refreshments, and a chance to meet many of the displaying artists!
