The Price Center Arts Committee is looking forward to 2026 with new art exhibits and a few new additions to their process to improve the overall experience of the gallery -- named Best of Hays for the last three years running -- for participating artists and viewers alike.

To begin with, the 2026 Main Exhibit Calendar has been established with topics to inspire you to create and submit original works. In addition, the following three new significant changes are being added to the 2026 Calls:
1. Intakes times will change for all the 2026 Art Shows as follows: Tuesdays, 12 noon – 6 pm & Wednesdays, 10am-5pm
2. Optional -- Submitting artists may bring a 1-page artist statement/bio that we will feature in a “Meet the Artists” book available at the Price Center Gallery. Hard copies only, please.
3. “People’s Choice” will be a chance for visitors to our gallery to select their 3 favorite pieces in each show. We hope to encourage viewer interaction, and we will let all artists know the top three selections for “bragging rights.”
The current Show, What Goes Around Comes Around, is the 45th Gallery Show since the community gallery opened throughout the Center 8 years ago. A total of 584 artists have participated in one or more of these shows.

The first Call for 2026, Creative Journeys: Beyond Imagination will be accepting submissions Jan. 6 & 7.
"We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for participating in the Price Center’s Art Exhibits," said executive director. "You have helped us grow by attracting more artists and viewers and together we've elevated the profile of the arts in our community," he added.
In addition to creating and curating the six community shows each year, the Arts Committee also oversees pop-up shows, community art projects, and a variety of arts-related programming at the Center.
