Local artist Lou Stein will lead this class for creatives who love to work with paper and people. Just like all the art programming at the Price Center, this class is designed to challenge you creatively and strengthen and/or create a social connection with others.
Participants will learn about the basics of collage. Then each person will choose 6 to 10 different pieces of paper to fit a 5” x 7” finished work. These paper packets will be exchanged with another person in the class. You will then make a collage with the paper given to you by that person. The first two sessions are scheduled for January 22 and January 29, both from 2 to 4pm. Additional sessions may be arranged if there is enough interest. Regardless, participants will have the opportunity to swap and create several times.

The Price Center has a large supply of paper, and glue. Feel free to bring your favorite scissors and any supplies you would like to use in addition to what is available. (Donations of supplies are always welcome for our community art closet.)
Suggestions for more successful outcomes:
some collage experience
a small book about 5” x 7” attainable on art supply sites or a notebook about the same size
a willingness to play well with others
The class is free and open to all. Space is limited. Please contact Lou Stein at ninastein911@gmail.com for additional information and to arrange your spot.
