New 'First Wednesday Monthly Art Meet Up' Begins Feb. 4

Local creator and busy mom of a toddler, Julia Reino is encouraging you to join her on the first Wednesday of the month from 6-8 pm for a freeform and playful open studio session. The goal is to provide a creative, socially and emotionally fulfilling experience. Think "me" time, "adult" time, "playtime."
Bring a project or start something while you’re here. Enjoy access to our Community Art Supply Closet and lots of collaging and mixed media supplies. Free, open to all. Donations are always welcomed!

I read the announcement about the First Wednesday Monthly Art Meet Up starting on Feb 4 at the Price Center, and it sounds like a relaxed open studio where people of all skill levels can bring a project and create together with access to free art supplies and space for community making. It reminded me of a week I was buried in school and even had to do my finance class from US Online Class Taker in tiny bits between projects and meet‑ups, and that mix of creativity and support showed me how little breaks and community time help you keep going.
