More than ninety area women contributed 103 amazing works of art for the Price Center’s newest show “Break the Mold: Honoring Women & Their Art.” This year, our annual all-women’s show celebrates International Women’s Day with 2-floors of unique art on display now through April 25.

The Opening Reception is slated to be held on Sunday, March 8 -- International Women’s Day – from 3-5 p.m. Refreshments and social are followed by a formal program at 3:30, including live music, poetry, and dance. The event is free and open to all.

“It’s a beautiful show,” said Joan Nagel, chair of the Price Center Arts Committee. “The committee enjoys curating and hanging these shows, we all feel it’s a privilege to be conduits to creativity,” she added.
A full range of media and styles from traditional paintings to collage, mixed media, fiber, mosaics, assemblages, and more make up this imaginative and powerful show highlighting a woman’s point of view. Most works are for sale. A portion of the proceeds help support our gallery and other arts programming.
Gallery Shows are created, curated, and hung by the Price Center Arts Committee. The Galleries are open to the public Wednesday – Friday, noon-5 and Saturdays, 10-3.
