DIY HOLIDAY CARD WORKSHOP SLATED FOR NOV. 29 & 30 AT PRICE CENTER

Long-practicing artist, Bee Friends quilter, and Price Center member Jonnie Sargent is hosting a DIY Christmas Card Workshop Nov. 29 & 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Center. The Workshop is designed for beginners although creators of all levels are welcome. Attendees will learn basic card crafting and all materials will be provided for making a variety of designs. The class is limited to 12 participants and registration is required in advance. A $20 fee applies.

“I have so much fun making cards and way too many supplies,” said Jonnie Sargent with a smile. “I want to share the fun and all the great supplies I’ve already collected,” she added.

Sargent’s handmade card creations offer feature dimensional design and added elements of fun and whimsy.

Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch for both days, as well as a large pair of scissors, and show proof of full vaccination for COVID 19 to attend. Additional card making supplies are also welcome.
