Bits & Pieces Reception & Annual Membership Meeting Set For May 15
The Price Center will host its Annual Membership Meeting and Election of Officers during its opening reception for Bits & Pieces, the new art show honoring planet Earth, on Wednesday, May 15 from 6-8 p.m. Light refreshments, opportunities to visit Shop 1893, and a chance to renew or start a Price Center membership, will all be accompanied by the live musical stylings of Gary Taylor.

A brief formal annual meeting, including remarks and an election of officers, will take place in the 1910 Room at 6:45 followed by another round of socializing and more till 8.
Reusing and recycling is the concept behind the latest gallery exhibit, Bits & Pieces, which features 91 innovative, creative, and inspiring artworks by 85 area artists. The exhibit is on display throughout the first-floor galleries of the Price Center through June 22.
“It’s been an amazing 12 months of continued growth and progress at the Center,” said Joan Nagel Board and Arts Committee Chair. “We are so grateful to all our members, volunteers, donors, participating artists, and community members who choose the Center for their events, we wouldn’t be here without you,” she added.
The Price Center recently received Best of Hays honors for 2023 as Best Community Center/Social Venue and Best Art Gallery/Exhibit. It was the fifth time the Center received acclaim. The Center is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, currently open 7 days a week for private rental, and open to the public W-F, Noon -5, and Sat., 10-3.
