ASSB RETURNS TO PRICE CENTER FEB 25 WITH "SWING MORE AMORE’"
Aquarena Springs Symphonic Band (ASSB) will return to the Price Center for their first concert of 2024 with SWING MORE AMORE’ on Feb. 25 at 5:00 pm. AMORE’ will transport you to a time of dance and romance, worldly travels, and slight tastes of foreign cuisine. You may leave craving Italian, remembering days of love, or a new aficionado of a certain tune that is new to you.
Seating will be set up a little differently for this concert to allow interested attendees to dance to the music. Compositions will be classical and operatic, flavorful, and bold, suave, and sincere. As usual the band will have you leaving with a melody in your heart and a smile on your face.
“We love the ASSB performances here. The energy and music are always great and the addition of a dance option really takes things to a new level,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director.
ASSB is an all-volunteer community band starting their 4th season under Musical Director, Michael L. Thielen. They are excited to be returning to the Price Center, who has proven to be a staunch supporter since the band’s beginning. Art Shows and performing arts presentations are created, curated, and coordinated by the Price Center Arts Committee, and are an important part of the Center’s mission and community service.
Seating for the Feb. 25 concert is limited, and reservations are recommended by contacting the Price Center & Garden directly at 512-392-2900. (A $10 donation is suggested at the door, although not required.)
