The Price Center will host its annual membership meeting and election of officers on Thur., May 26 from 6-8 p.m. The event will begin with an art show and reception, light refreshments, opportunities to visit Shop 1893, and a chance to renew or start a membership, all accompanied by live music from Mark Cruz.

A brief formal annual meeting including brief reports and an election of officers will take place in the 1910 Room at 6:45 followed by another round of socializing and more till 8.

Reusing and recycling is the concept behind the latest gallery exhibit, Something Old to Something New, which features 80 innovative and inspiring artworks by 70 area artists. The exhibit is on display throughout the first-floor galleries of the Price Center.

Something New is a feast for the eyes and imagination with masterfully clever, colorful, and creative works made from a wide variety of common and often disposable materials. Twenty-five, mosaic-specific artworks by members of the Austin Mosaic Guild complete the exhibit in our Main Parlor. Many of the works are for sale, and a portion of any sales benefits the ongoing art efforts at the Center.

The event is free and open to the public. Members and non-members alike are welcome.
