5TH ANNUAL SM VARIETY SHOW TO BENEFIT PRICE CENTER
The San Marcos Variety Show is back for its 5th annual run Thurs., Oct. 8 from 6-9 p.m.! A unique mix of acts will perform on the Ron & Marie Jager Theatre Stage in our beautiful 1910 Ballroom. Various concessions will be available, and attendees can purchase $5 raffle tickets for chances to win one of several unique gift baskets during the family event. All proceeds benefit the non-profit Price Center.
The show was created by Anna Broome, a former Pirce Center board member to showcase all the local talent and give back to the Price Center for all that it gives to the community each year.
“The shows kind of blow me away,” said Anna Broome, creator/organizer of the popular annual event. “The variety and scope of San Marcos talent shines brightly for the wildly enthusiastic audience, all in support of the Price Center,” she added. “To think we’re about to present our 5th show is truly heartwarming.”
In addition to a few returning acts, like the Price Center’s ballet dancers, this year’s show promises a wide variety of acts, including single and duo musical performances, tap and modern dance, stand-up comedy, pianists, and poets.
