4th Flea set for this Saturday
4th Flea, downtown San Marcos’ only monthly indoor and outdoor community flea market, is set to take place this Saturday, April. 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Price Center.
Vendors already signed on include a “multi-family yard sale” fundraiser hosted by the Bluebonnet Lions Club with indoor and outdoor booths. In addition, other vendors will be selling everything from jewelry and fashion accessories, to household items, fridge pickles, handmade fabric arts, plants, unique collectible finds, and artwork. Admission is free and open to all. The Center also offers a variety of drinks, including coffee, soft drinks, and water for a small donation.
“Each market brings an interesting mix of booths, regular and new shoppers, and lots of great conversation,” said Clay DeStefano executive director. “This month’s Flea also coincides with our 10 a.m. celebration of World Tai Chi and Qigong day in the Garden, so there truly is going to be something for everyone this time,” he added.
Interested in participating? 4th Flea booths are available, welcomed and encouraged for both private and retail vendors. Multi-family booths welcome. Vendors pay $20 for outdoor booths and $30 for indoor booths. Participants will need to bring their own tents, tables and necessary display equipment. Set up is from 8-9 a.m. on the day of the event. A limited number of ‘6 tables are available for rent at $10 each.
The Tai Chi event is free and also open to all.
Proceeds from booth rentals benefit the Price Center, which is operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association (GSMASA), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit.
