NEXT WEEK'S 3RD THURS TO FEATURE DINNER, LIVE MUSIC AND ART

This month’s 3rd Thursday Downtown Walkabout at the Price Center will feature a special dinner service, live music, new featured artwork, and an artists’ reception to meet the artists behind the newest show. From patriotic quilts and graphite artwork, to abstract paintings and assemblages, the Center is overflowing with a wide variety of locally created works. A special dinner service will be offered in the Tea Room catered by the Center’s very own Chef Ray of Euro Café.

“The dinner service last month was a hit so we’re going to bring it back,” said Clay DeStefano, Price Center executive director. “And, this month we’ll have more live music as well.”

SMCISD music teacher Joshua Lowe and his son will be performing as a live folk duo and

additional live musical accompaniment, including a cello and violin duo is also planned.

Visitors will be able to meet various artists that have pieces dis

played in the Center, including the artists behind this month’s featured art show, “Putting the Pieces Together: A Collection of Assemblages.” Local artists and friends Margaret Adie, Garrie Borden, Clay DeStefano, and Joan Nagel will be present to share their 34 works.
