Blood Brothers' Final Run this Weekend

San Marcos Spotlight Theatre’s production of Blood Brothers, a dramatic rock musical, will conclude its six-run production this Fri. and Sat. night at the Price Center in downtown San Marcos. Tickets will be available at the door on a first come, first served basis for $15 ($10 for students and seniors). The curtain rises at 7:30 p.m.

Blood Brothers was written by Willy Russell, author of Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine. It opened in London’s West End at the Lyric Theatre in 1983 to critical acclaim, and subsequently won Olivier Awards for Best New Musical and Best Actress. Since then, Blood Brothers has accumulated a host of other awards—including six TONY nominations—and has become one of the longest running musicals in the West End.
