Auditions for 'The Women' Set for July 28
San Marcos, TX – Auditions for Clare Booth Luce’s classic play and film “The Women” will be held on Thurs., July 28 at 7 p.m. in the historic 1910 Room at the Price Center for a fall run of the play. Actresses ranging in age from 9-years to up to 80 are needed to fill a variety of colorful roles. Rehearsals would begin in mid-Aug. on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons in Wimberley. The comedy drama, which centers on the social lives of wealthy women and their hired help in 1930’s New York, will be presented by The Black Diamond Cabaret Theatre the first 3 weekends in November at the Center.
