Four different piano players will take turns entertaining visitors to the next week’s Third Thursday activities at the Price Center. Guests may also enjoy a new summer-inspired quilt show and the unique, 3-D Pop-Up Card Art by local artist and poet Michael Hannon. As always, the Center’s activities will run from 6-9 p.m., are free, open to all, and complimentary refreshments will be served.
Musical performances will kick off in the 1910 Room with Price Center regular Gav Sears who will play a number of his favorite popular tunes from 6-7 p.m. From there, three artists from Curious Chords Music in Kyle – Nicholas Graham, Ian Cameron, and Ben Smith – will each take turns playing piano sets from 7-9 p.m.
Gav will also be setting up a pop-up booth of his popular GavArt cards and prints featuring popular San Marcos landmarks along with a few other local artists in the Main Parlor.
Activities planned throughout the downtown area for the night include several opportunities to hear and see other live music, see and purchase art, enjoy special activities and save on various featured products, foods and beverages.
