NEW 'ART IN THE ALLEY' OFFERS UNIQUE ‘SHOP SMALL’ EXPERIENCE

The Price Center’s Feltner Alley Parking Lot will transform into an outdoor Pop-Up Art Market called Art in the Alley this Saturday as part of the Center’s Shop Small Saturday festivities. The special Art Market will run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 25 in conjunction with a special expanded version of the Center’s 4th Flea Community Market, which will take place in the Garden and inside the two, historic former church Sanctuaries from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“Ronnie has curated a very nice art market,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director. “Gift shopping should be fun and easy as there’s truly something for every taste and price point -- from some of San Marcos’ finest working artists.”

More than 20 artists have booked a booth. The Flea Market still has limited number of spots available. New vendors are welcome and encouraged to join in. Booths are filled on a first-come, first-served basis for both private and retail vendors. Participants can reserve an outdoor booth for $20.00, or an indoor booth for $30.00. Vendors are responsible for their own display equipment. Set up is from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event. A limited numbers of tables are available to rent for an additional $10

.
