This month’s 4th Flea, San Marcos’ only monthly downtown community market, will include trick-or-treating from Noon – 3 p.m. The monthly Market takes place outdoors in the Garden and inside the historic Price Center in downtown San Marcos from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. A limited number of indoor and outdoor booth spaces are still available.
“It’ll be a fun, busy and Halloween-inspired day at the Center,” said Clay DeStefano. “We’ll also have two performances of ‘The Bad Seed’ that day, including a 2:30 Matinee,” he added.
Vendors slated to be present include arts and crafts, comics, toys, clothes, hand-crafted items, essential oils, plants, furniture, jewelry, and home accessories.
4th Flea booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis for both private and retail vendors. Participants can reserve an outdoor booth for $20.00, or an indoor booth for $30.00. Vendors will need to supply their own goods and necessary display equipment. Set up is from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event. A limited numbers of tables are available to rent for an additional $10.
Downtown Trick-or-Treating is a program of Main Street San Marcos. More than 50 local downtown businesses will be greeting handing out candy among other events and activities from Noon – 3 p.m. More information, including maps of participating locations is available at the Main Street office at 317 N. LBJ Dr.
