The Price Center joins the community of San Marcos and Texas State University in mourning the loss of longtime patron and donor, Dr. Darrell Piersol who passed away peacefully at home on Sat., Feb. 24, 2018. Art in the Alley Set for this Saturday

The Price Center’s Feltner Alley Parking Lot will transform into an outdoor Pop-Up Art Market for the second installment of Art in the Alley, this Saturday, March 3 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. More than a dozen returning and new artists are planning to set-up and, thanks to a grant from the San Marcos Arts Commission, live music will be performed from noon – 3 p.m. Admission is free and open to all. 4th Flea Community Market set for Sat

4th Flea, downtown San Marcos’ only monthly indoor and outdoor community flea market, is set to take place this Saturday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Price Center. Vendors and participants will enjoy the wide array of items such as traditional furniture, clothing and household items to food, essential oils, artwork, plants, custom creations, and more. The Price Center, the unique downtown, non-profit event center operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association (GSMASA), is seeking renewing and new dues paying members to attend the organization’s Annual Meeting Luncheon slated for Thurs., Feb. 22 at 11:30 a.m. in the Center’s 1910 Room. Love-Inspired Community Art Show on Display @ Price Ctr Throughout February

Expand your mind and sense of all things heart-related through a visually engaging new community art show “Art with Heart” from more than two dozen area artists featuring nearly 70 original creations -- all centered around love. The show, which is made possible in part by a San Marcos Arts Commission grant, is the first one of the new year at the Price Center and includes a wide range of images and themes. The works are presented in traditional oils, acrylics, and mixed media, as well as photography and illustration, quilting and other textiles, ceramics and assemblage. Valentine's Dinner Offered in Tea Room

The Price Center and its in-house Chef Ray Abazi, formerly of Euro Café, are pleased to announce a Valentine’s Dinner service for couples in the Center’s Tea Room on Tues., Feb. 14, from 6 – 9 p.m. The Couples Dinner includes your choice of 2 entrées from five of Chef’s signature dishes, sides, salads, and desserts, plus water, tea, or coffee, and a complimentary glass of wine for $40 per couple.
