Easy Tai Chi Expands at Price Center

San Marcos, TX – Due to an increased demand, the Tiger Lady of San Marcos, Brenda Bell, recently expanded her weekly Easy Tai Chi classes at the Price Center from one session to three. The updated class schedule is every Tues. from 9-10 a.m. and 2-3 p.m., and each Thurs. from 9-10 a.m. A $5 donation for each class is requested. Bell began Tai Chi after a long and strenuous boxing career in Los Angeles, California. Relaxation is an important component for every class. Booth Spaces Available for Sat's 4th Flea

4th Flea, downtown San Marcos’ only monthly community flea market, is seeking more vendors to participate in the market on June 24 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. “We love being part of an event that brings the community together,” said Clay DeStefano, Price Center executive director. “From vendors to participants, the creative flow of the community is what keeps us motivated and involved.” 4th Flea booths are available on first come, first serve basis. Private and retail vendors are both welcomed and encouraged. Vendors pay $20 for outdoor booths and $30 for indoor booths. The curtain will rise promptly at 7:30 this Friday night for the opening night presentation of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” in the historic 1910 Room of the Price Center in downtown San Marcos. More than 30 area young people – ages 8 – 20 – will present nine performances of this popular musical theater classic following 11 long and challenging days of musical theater boot camp. The show runs through June 25 with Fri and Sat. evening performances and Sat. and Sun. matinees.
